For over 15 years, we’ve helped families across Kentucky, Southern Ohio, Middle Tennessee, and Southern Indiana find the right solution — and we’re still here long after the installation is done.
How It Started
Transitions Lift + Elevator was founded in February 2009, right here in Lexington, Kentucky. From the beginning, our mission has been straightforward: exceed expectations by delivering the best value in the industry — with exceptional customer service and outstanding quality equipment.
That philosophy hasn’t changed. What has changed is our reach. As word spread and families across the region trusted us with in their homes and churches, we grew — first across Central Kentucky, then into Northern Kentucky, Cincinnati and the Dayton Area, then Louisville, Southern Indiana, Western Kentucky and eventually into Nashville and Middle Tennessee.
Today we operate four locations, but we’re still the same family business that answered the phone on day one. When you call Transitions, you’re talking to people who genuinely care about getting it right.

Stair Lifts
We proudly install Bruno stair lifts for both straight and curved rail applications. Bruno is a veteran-founded, family-owned American manufacturer — and one of the most trusted names in the industry.
Home Elevators
For traditional residential elevators, we work with Savaria, Inclinator, Fox Valley and Symmetry (Cibes), giving our customers a wide range of drive systems, cab sizes, and customization options to fit any home and budget.
Wheelchair Lifts
Our vertical platform wheelchair lift lineup draws from Bruno, Savaria, and Symmetry (Cibes), covering low-rise residential lifts through fully enclosed hoistway or enclosure commercial applications.
Pneumatic Vacuum Elevators
We install the full PVE lineup — including the new Level Up Winding Drum, the original PVE30, PVE37, and PVE52 as well as the newer Cube option. These elevators require no hoistway, machine room, or pit, and offer 360-degree visibility with custom color options. Made in the USA.
Dumbwaiters
For residential and commercial dumbwaiters, we install equipment from Inclinator and Fox Valley Elevator. Both are made in the USA.
