Often, we look at stair lifts, wheelchair lifts, and home elevators as tools used by only a certain fraction of the public. And at a surface view, one might conclude that only those who directly use them feel the impact.
At Transitions Lift + Elevator, however, we understand just how wide of an impact accessibility products really have on people's lives. Sure, they have a direct effect on those who use them, but they also contribute to a more general greater good within society.
First, it should be noted that once people have accessibility restrictions removed from their lives, they're able to make greater contributions outside the home. For those who would have a hard time leaving the home without a lift or elevator, the fact that they have these devices allows them to work, play, socialize, and enjoy all the facets of the community that others do.
Also, others are freed up from the burden of caring for people who can't maintain independence on their own. With a stair lift or wheelchair lift doing the job it would otherwise take another person (or other people) to do, that frees up more time and energy for other things (not to mention how much safer it is for everyone involved, as well!).
Indeed, accessibility products produce a positive ripple effect throughout the community. At Transitions, we want to help facilitate as much positive change as possible, so if you or a loved one would benefit from a stair lift, wheelchair lift, or home elevator, please contact us! We look forward to hearing from you.
