Solutions for Those Who Otherwise Cannot Afford Lifts & Elevators

Believe it or not, there are lots of programs available to help people afford mobility products. Many banks offer home modification loans, while state and national government have created grant and loan programs. Veterans are eligible for even more assistance through multiple channels.

The bottom line is that everyone should be able to have the help they need to secure and safe and manageable home dwelling. At Transitions Lift & Elevator, we have amassed quite a bit of information on different ways that customers may fund a purchase of one of our products. Take the USDA’s Rural Repair and Rehabilitation Loans and Grants program, for example.

For those making due on a very low income, this avenue provides loans up to $20,000 and grants (for those 62 and older) up to $7,500 toward health and safety improvements. The loans carry an interest rate of a mere 1%. Plus, in cases where part of the money can be repaid, loans and grants possibly may be combined.
